This document introduces L3Harris Shared Solutions Application Notes.
Shared Solutions Applications Notes provide technical design, configuration and test information to assist Customers, Integrators and [technical staff] with product-specific information on how to deploy unique L3Harris Features and Functions.
Background
The L3Harris product legacy includes support for multiple generations of communications equipment and services. As products mature, and as projects require, there are often unique features and functions provided that may not be widely understood.
In some cases, the sheer volume and scope of a large system deployment makes more obscure features less obvious, however they can often provide important value to Customers, often at no additional cost. As products, and projects mature, new features are added with documentation updates, however they too can be hidden in the forest of features that L3Harris provides.
Shared Solutions Application Notes identify and clarify the “what and how” of key common features, across the L3Harris product family. Written [by engineers for engineers], these notes provide succinct functional documentation, and will identify how (and in many cases why) to deploy features.
Application otnes will created, distributed and maintained in a central repository, providing Shared Solutions for Common Problems
